Hello guys to say this summer 2020 was challenging is an understatement. We definitely had our up and downs with the strike of Covid-19 our whole life had a little twist. The boys headed to college and things did not go that well no covid but college life was not it for them as they were not able to do the normal things a college student was able to do in the past. However, they made the best of it and finished the semester with A and B’s across the border so I was one happy momma. This semester however one of the boys stood back home with me and hubby and one headed to college. They are still trying to make the best of it and doing things to make their life entertaining did I mentioned one is 19 and the other 21 lol! π Yep this chick is enjoying quality time with them and hubby and trying new ways to stay active in learning new healthy habits to cope with my disease.
This is truly us united and family doesn’t always have to be blood united and together we can make a huge difference. This picture resembles that happiness and truly had a good time and celebrated my younger son 19th birthday. I have to say Edo Japanese Steakhouse in Pelham, NY has always been my favorite Japanese place to dine the food is great and the chef they do there thang you know crack jokes and make us laugh. I wanted to take my son back to the place where his grandfather and mother had good quality time together when I he was a little rascal. He spent it nice and at home blew his candles again and closed the night with a warm hug and kiss. I know my dad would of been happy to experience the moment and would of been proud of me but I know he was shining from up above and enjoying from heaven.
This is why I tell everyone to always keep in touch with family even if it’s once in a while but don’t lose contact at some point call them and tell them how much you love them. I know I’m not the greatest in calling but when ever I can I call my family members and acquaintances just to see how they are doing and show some support. In the most crucial moments in your life you always look in support of your love ones and/or the ones that are there to hear you out. I advise everyone when you are feeling lost or in depression please seek help or talk to someone you have trust in but never stay in the dark. Stay happy and stay healthy!!!!
