Good day my fellow phriends I sure hope your day is always positive and full of good vibes. I have my own opinion on this topic don’t get me wrong I always stay positive and stay in good vibes. There are days where all I want to do is stay in bed but that is just me and my lil’ chronic rare disease. Again, I thank God for every day I wake up and get to see another day. One thing I advise is try to get up from bed even if it’s to look outside your window. I’ve notice that this helps a lot to start my day on the right foot. I feel that once I have gotten up from my bed, stretch and meditate, I like to say my prayers and thank God for continuing to hear my requests. After I’m done with that and I brush my teeth I like to do my bed and get ready for the day. I feel that all these things as simple as it seems it makes a difference for the start of my day.
One thing that can’t be missed is my coffee that has helped me tremendously. I read a blog post on benefits of drinking coffee and I was surprised with the research I found coffee not only is a good source of antioxidants but has been proven to help in the prevention of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson and Diabetes type 2. I take three different types of medications Alyq, Ambrisentan & Uptravi and all three medications have horrible side effects like headaches, body aches, jaw pain, etc. I had stopped coffee for about six months and decided to take MUD/WTR an alternative to coffee it is a great alternative if you don’t have an illness or disease. The reason I stopped coffee was my father in law had recommended to try to discontinue the intake of caffeine because he believed that caffeine was not good for my cardiovascular pulmonary disease. I took his advise until the other day when I read the blog post and changed my life. The way I take my coffee is I measure 8oz of black coffee (bustelo is my preference) in a pyrex measuring cup in other words I take no more than 400mg of caffeine a day which is the dose advise you should take a day this means three cups of 8 oz of coffee. I’m all in because I take my medication three times a day and ever since I drink my medication with coffee the side effects are to a minimum.
Another advise I give you is change your nutrition and environmental habits!!! I eat so much healthier now then I ever have in my life. The best thing I could say is research ingredients, fruits, vegetables, cereals, etc. It’s still taking me a lot of research but I started three years ago so don’t feel like you can’t do this yes you can. When I talk environmental I removed everything that contains toxic chemicals in them household, laundry and personal items are all clean. I check everything through EWG group and check ingredients for about everything. I eat three times a day and snack in between and drink distilled water all day (in moderation due to my PAH) but stay hydrated always.
The best way to end your day is the same way you started on a positive note! Love you guys stay safe and keep smiling and stay positive. See you in a another blog post!!! πΊ
